I spent so
much time wanting to know what happened to split these two up, and then,
wanting Ruthie to get her memory back so we could have the whole story! That
doesn’t mean I wasn’t drawn into the new dynamic between these two, him
wavering between the past and the present, her trying to make sense of his
reactions and her feelings. This was a case of two people who were too young
and ill-equipped to deal with life’s realities, and then trapped in a cycle
of denial. They had to find their way with the maturity and experience that
life had given them before they could find their way back to each other,
which they did, spectacularly and wonderfully <3
