There was
so much to discover about our characters in this one, and I was glued to the
pages as it all played out! Levi is lust, and he is on a mission with Silas,
our sloth. However, our FMC is strongly independent, completely closed off,
and highly protective of her dogs and her privacy. That just means Levi and
her clash a lot, but they both bring up good points. On the run since a teen,
Etta has trauma that causes some deeply unsettling moments. The way these two
compromise, recognize the strength in each other, and commit to each other,
even when they aren’t sure of the future, made their love story one that
resonates and has a solid and strong foundation that will last forever <3
