I forgot how OTT the MMC’s were in the authours stories, and this one is no exception! Lots of steam, lots of heat, and a little frustration on his inability to read the FMC

Cinderella Undone by Nicole Snow, DNF

That was a non-starter; I kept reading, hoping the characters would grab me, but gave up 25% in. He was just a jerk, and she seemed flat. Skimmed to the end, and nothing that was predictable and built up for extra drama, really happened

 

Tech Guy by Anna Collins, 4 stars

(the cover really doesn't do the story justice!)

While the reasons and fall out from these two’s break-up when they were teens was a bit overly dramatic, the story of the here and now was great! Unexpectedly a single dad, trying to figure out why she hates him so much, and bonding over their love for the little girl under their care. Fast paced, just the right amount of drama, wild chemistry, and an HEA <3
