Really
liked how the story unfolded, with just pieces of the mystery being revealed
at each turn. One thing that was there from the start, and we didn’t need to
find out, was that these two were wildly attracted to each other! |

Chloe was
beautifully displayed, how something so awful could happen to someone so
loved and intelligent. Gabe’s openness allowed her to confide and heal at her
own pace and manner. The worries she carried dissipated under his care and
understanding. The heat that sizzled between them sustained them until their hearts
acknowledged their connection <3 |

I liked
this! I grabbed the next because, well, Elvis, of course 😉
Loved that he fell first and hard, and she wasn’t far behind him. They took
their time, got to know each other before acting on their attraction, which
was nice. The drama, yeah, we could’ve done without that, but it was quickly
and easily resolved |

There was
so much about this story that I liked! The found family, sense of community,
honour, commitment. The attraction between Lucian and Emmie, their tender
moments, the times they discussed their worlds, the trust they built. Didn’t
get all the yelling, that seemed to be something they did an awful lot of.
Also didn’t like Emmie always acting up when she shouldn’t, even though she
knew why that was a rule. Her capture was tough, what she endured, but her
rescue was amazing, and nicely tied things up for these two <3 |
