Sometimes
the authours ability to conjure up the bad guys is frightening, and this was
most definitely one of those cases. Cringeworthy, fear-inducing, wildly-insane,
bad guys. She does such a good job, and I knew this one would be bad, that
once we found out, it was worse then I expected. That just makes me root even
more for our couple; The things Jordan has been through, the way she
continues on, and the bravery she exudes every, single, day, blew my mind.
That Knox figured that out right away, a testament to how in tune to her he
was immediately. Don’t get me wrong, they had things to overcome. The way they
maneuvered through everything was beautiful. The fact I was in tears sobbing
for the last quarter of the book just tells you how invested I was in these
two, and their whole family, getting to, and having, their HEA <3
