That was an easy read, and for a best friend’s little sister, little drama. Definitely hearted, definitely unacknowledged feelings, definitely fun!

The Golden Barbarian by Iris Johansen, 5 stars

I really liked these two! And the supporting cast as well, once I got to know them. But at the centre, the freshness and darkness of our FMC and MMC blended perfectly. It was almost as if they knew, which I think they did, from their first meeting that they were destined to be together <3

That just ended with tears streaming down my face! These two, the time it took them to get where they needed to be, all the missteps along the way, and the devotion and understanding that happened instantly with them, to have it finally come together was beauty and harmony <3
