Absolutely
devoured this story! Once I started, I couldn’t stop. There was so much to
unpack, realize, and discover, and the biggest parts were within the
characters themselves. Sam/Lila and Ian had suppressed so much of their
feelings to function. The unravelling of those internal constructs left them
confused and disoriented. The attraction between them, undeniable. The danger
they were in, absolute. The trust needed to take a chance on living, that
took a while, but it was beautiful once it was achieved <3
