Saving The Beast, 4 stars

I liked how
the story is a continuation of the series, but gives you enough background
that it can be read as a standalone. It has been quite a while since I read
the previous stories, so that got me caught up, so I could delve into this
story. There were a lot of moving parts to the story, but at the centre of it
all were Diane and Zane, and getting him back, while making sure she was safe.
Loved how they have always connected, and when push came to shove, she
realized their bond was always there. A good mix of intrigue, action, heat,
and emotion, as the good guys take the day, but the bad guys are still out
there! |
A Jaguar's Touch, 2.5 stars

I was a
little confused by our FMC, she started out as a raving banshee, and then,
she became an emotional weakling? Now, when she was inbetween those two
extremes, she was great. Also, why are so many people yelling and screaming
all the time, it made me think we had a camp full of overtired toddlers
rather than full grown adults. Was okay with the couple, but this was more of
a move the storyline along in the series book for me |
The Liger's Mark, 4.5 stars

I knew
these two would be intense, and they did not disappoint! Major steps in the
larger story arc, but also significant findings for our couple. On top of
that, emotional bonding while giving in to all that heat 😉 |
Unleashing the Beast, 4 stars
|
Things are
starting to come together in the big storyline, though there are still lots
of questions. We learn so much about our couple, who they were, how they met,
the things they had been through. While there was a bit of drama when they
reconnected, they quickly settled to their HEA, it just took a bit to
convince others all was good <3 |
Eyes on the Pride, 4 stars
|
Wasn’t sure
why we needed these new characters, though one had been referenced in
passing, but as they shared what they knew, it quickly became apparent! Not
sure why MMC needed to slow things down, but glad FMC poked him until he
acted. Lots of history for the pride reveled, and lots of connections being
revealed. The couple was a sure thing from the start, and their chemistry was
wild <3 |
Cry of the Pride, 4 stars

These two
definitely brought some new and different aspects to the Pride, and you can
feel all the pieces starting to come together as the story progressed. I will
admit, I do sometimes forget who is who with all the names floating around,
but the story carries me until I figure it out again |
Mending the Beast, 4 stars
|
These two
had a lot of healing to do before they could be together, and they took their
time to do so. When push came to shove, they couldn’t stay away, and with
patience and understanding, they managed to find their way <3 |
Heart of a Lion, 4.5 stars

The pieces
are all falling into place, and wow, there was a lot to unpack in this story.
At the centre of it in Quinn and as we learn all she has been through, and
things even she didn’t know. The Pride comes together in the end, and
everyone has a vested interest in getting that final piece taken care of! |
Soul of a Lynx, 4 stars

A little
let down by the conclusion, things were going along pretty good and then,
done, just done. It was satisfying, and everyone was all wrapped up and
happy, so not bad, just sudden |
