  I so really
  tried to like this book; I usually like the authour; I like dark romances,
  and villains as MC’s; In this case though, I just didn’t connect at all with
  Eshe, and didn’t particularly like her. Her story, I should have lapped that
  up, but, I found I really didn’t care about what she did, why she did it, or
  what happened to her. Malachi held my interest a bit more, but not a lot.
  After a third of the way in, I skimmed, and even then, I barely wanted to
  know about how the story ended up. I am disappointed, I had such high hopes,
  but this one just wasn’t for me ☹
