Bondage Buddies, 4.5 stars

Took me a
bit to get invested in these two, but once I did, I couldn’t help but root
for them! Both tried to respect the others emotional boundaries, but failed
to take into account their own feelings. Both were so confident in what they
wanted and knew, and then thrown for a loop when that wasn’t their reality. Both
didn’t see what everyone around them could easily deduce from watching them together.
Luckily, they have a family of friends to guide them when they fall down on
getting their own needs met <3 |
What I liked
about these two is that, despite their confidence, they still had doubts. And
it was how they handled those doubts that made me like them so much! There
were no quick fixes, it took time, effort, and a commitment from both of them
<3
Loved Law
and Iris, but Noelle ruined every scene she was in for me and ruined parts of
the book for me. Our couple were definitely opposites, and in their case,
opposites bring out the best in the other. Happy they worked through any
issues and got to start their HEA <3
Loved Q and
Sam, but just didn’t like all the side drama that was going to be played out
around them, so after 36%, skipped to the last chapter so I could see them
happy
Legally Bound, 4.5 stars
This threw
some curves that I was not expecting, but that made the couple all the more
perfect for each other! Equals in life, their power exchange has all the
things they want and need, and they balance it to fit their dynamics.
Fake
dating, and he falls first? Yep, loved these two, how they focused on their
needs, stood up for each other, and when they realized they had feelings,
didn’t back away from them!
FINALLY, these
two work things out! Not by choice, but by circumstance, and then by actually
examining their needs and wants, the reality they were glossing over, and
what compromises they could actually make. Them being them, there was some
fun and giggles along the way as well 😊
There was
nothing wrong with the story, but I just felt some of the conflict was
fabricated, and as it was easily resolved, not really the issue it was made
to be
I so wanted
these three to be together, and while I was happy they worked through everything,
some things just seemed to fall into place too easily. Kindcaid and Zach had
the correct amount of heat and emotion, with Amy it seemed to be all heat and
lacking depths of emotions. A good story overall, just could’ve used a but
less sceneing and more emoting
