These
are stories from different books that are told or observed from a different
POV than was in the original
Lion,
Demon, and Human – I thought reading the scene before was intense, but
getting from an observer’s POV made it even more so! Knowing how these three
end up over time, and now knowing how this all played out from every angle,
made it all the more pivotal in the big picture
Lion,
Vampire, and Human – I actually forgot about this moment until now.
Seeing Randall in the story still feels like a gut-punch every single time,
and for that alone, a chance to see him again, it made this little moment all
the better
The Biker
and the New Wolf – Okay, this only made me love Dozer in a way I hadn’t
thought about before. The way he considers and acts with the wolves around
him, it shows a softer side we don’t often get to see. There was that
heartache on seeing Randall again, but it did bring back happier memories
this time
Dozer’s
Punishment – oh wow, I mean, we knew it had been bad without knowing
exactly what it was, but that was something else. The good thing though was
we got into Dozer’s head, from his banishment to the aftermath of his
punishment. Where we only saw him as one-dimensional before, this rounded him
out a lot more
