Love it
when a story starts off with a heartbreak! That means it can only get better
from there, and this one certainly went way up for our heroine. Sigh, a
salt-and-pepper hero, jaded by life, secure in himself, his ways, and his skin.
How can a woman be expected to resist that? Of course, she can’t, but she has
some baggage to deal with first, which she does, eventually, and
spectacularly. These two were wonderful together, and I left me all happy and
tingly <3 |
