Only this
authour would give us a love story that starts with the couple’s marriage
imploding! Sounds like a bad start to a romance, but it really made everything
else that follows more poignant, more meaningful, and more significant. These
two learn about themselves, about each other, about the perfect life they
thought they had, and where the cracks had always been. That even when they
thought they had it all figured out, they glossed over some things, and blatantly
ignored others. Life isn’t perfect, but you can have a perfect life, is what
they learn along their journey back together, and it was one of the most
beautiful romances I’ve read in a long, long time <3 p.s. I
sincerely hope we get to see more of their kids in the River Rain series!!! |
