The best
lines in this book came from a 91 year-old man and about a dog! I mean, how
can you not love the phrase “no pants dance” and a dog who “takes his naps
very seriously”. I have to admit that while I loved Drew right away, it took
most of the book to warm up to Caryn. She just seems a little TSTL sometimes
and repetitive in her thoughts and actions. Once she realized that as well,
and changed it, then I really started to love her too. I was pretty far into
the book before I realized we hadn’t heard from the bad guy yet, and then, there
it was. It is always a treat to see where the authour will takes with her
devious mind, and she was subtle, but just as scary, this time around! |
