Maybe because
this pair were already main characters in previous stories, I was deeply
invested in them! Having already read books later in the series, seeing how
the dots all connected was key to understanding what comes later. But for
now, these two end up in a whole lot more than they bargained for, as some
powerful shifters make a few mistakes. What this does for our couple is make
them both realize how connected and perfect for each other they always were
