Be prepared,
this story invaded my thoughts and dreams while reading it, and long after! Our
main characters, Rus and Cin, have interesting back stories on their own, beside
what is happening to them in our story. I loved how the relationship between
Rus and Cin evolved, how they opened up to each other, and fit into each
others’ lives. The connection was instant, and even with so much happening around
them, they took things at their own pace. Then, we
have a mystery within a thriller, to add to all the suspense already
happening all around. You can see why I couldn’t stop thinking about the story,
it was so interesting and compelling, I didn’t want to stop while I raced to
see how it ended. This small town has already had the spotlight shone on it,
and it is there once again. The mystery to be solved made you want to turn
away, while you needed to watch closely to know how solving it came together.
Some twists, some unexpected moments, and a humdinger of a wrap up, loved
every second and can’t wait for more in this series! |
