Triple
Beat by Mari Carr |
3 stars There was
some depth of emotions in this story. Our heroine has had a terrible past and
she is now facing it. She hasn’t let anyone from her present in on what has
happened in her life, and her two bandmates/best friends sense there is more.
It was almost as if there was a split personality, to the book, the relationship
and smexy times between the three characters was hot, sweet, and fun. The
storyline with her past was deep, dark, and painful. Each worked on its’ own
but put together it felt fractured |

4 stars These three
certainly had their wires crossed! I love how in the series everyone goes by
their last name until they are in a relationship, and you can tell that, when
they start calling each other by their first names. This was a case where two
don’t work, and you need all three for things to be perfect. Hot, fun,
emotional, and loving, this was a great read! |
