There was
so much that I loved about this book! I really, really, really enjoyed the ‘present’
story, and getting to see Sin and Garet get their shot at happiness. Though
Garet broke my heart at times, his resiliency and determination made me love
him all the more. Speaking of heartbreak, Ezran, in all the ways we see him, you
know he is going to have to be broken down before he can be built back up.
The question is how much damage he’ll do along the way? Loved that we got
some focus on Lawson, Curtis, Matt, and Reed. Curtis and Reed made my heart
do the happy beats <3 That ending left us, as expected, with a twist and cause
for concern. |
