This was
really two stories in one, a continuation of the previous books in the series
that came before it. We get more Beau and Jane as they figure out how to live
their lives together. We have Emily and Mateo as they switch from enemies to
friends to lovers. We have more of the ever wonderful Paige, and I mean
seriously, I want to read about this child all through her life and then again
when she finds her HEA. We also have the trial going on, trying all these
characters together. Like the previous books in the series, the stories are
shrouded in mist and fog, not angsty, but dripping with emotions. My only
complaint is that it wasn’t long enough and I wanted more! |
