I admit, I
almost stopped this book at about 25% in, but I’m glad I pushed through. See,
it really was almost all sex and no story at that point. I love my smexy
scenes, but I want some depth to the characters and the situation as well. It
did balance out after that point, still lots of heat, but also great
character development. Myrna and Brian were seemingly opposite, but they
complimented each other perfectly. Nothing was simple or easy for them, they
both have scars and baggage, but that made the moment things worked out for
them all the sweeter! |
