Finally, Ashton’s
and Sonara’s story!!! I love that this authour doesn’t shy away from mature
characters getting their HEA’s. Ashton and Sonara aren’t young when they meet,
and they develop a friendship that works perfectly for them. Over the years,
an attraction grows, and being who they are, they act on it. Feelings aren’t on
the table for either of them, but you know what they say about well laid
plans. Getting both of them on the same page, at the same time, takes some Christmas
Carol-esque events, but it all comes through in the end There were a
lot of emotions in this book, especially if you’ve read all the Heart Falls
books. We get to see the elder Stone patriarch alive and happy. How the
events that unfolded affect Ashton so deeply. Meeting sweet Ivy and how she
came to become friends with Walker. Behind the scenes to making Ashton’s
birthday surprise happen. All the moments with Greg, and the one that brought
it all together. As always, I am left happy and content, knowing that the
resident’s of Heart Falls are living their best lives, together, in love
