I was not expecting
Alex and Eric to bring me so much joy, but there you go, you just never know!
These two were snappy, quick-witted, and deep without being overly intense.
They knew themselves, their lives, and what they wanted and where they were
going. They also had mad attraction to each other and no problem acting on
it, it was the afterwards that they fumbled with. And behind all of that,
there are bad guys, industry espionage, and big life changes to make decisions
on (and Bingley, who needs a nice AI love interest!). This story made me laugh,
made me cringe, made me become completely invested in these two in their
journey towards their HEA <3 |
