Anna and
Santino were a great love story! The mafia princess and her bodyguard weren’t
an expected pairing and all the possible pitfalls of him knowing her from a
young age were all dealt with perfectly. These two easily fall into the enemies
to lovers category, with them being at odds more than not before they end up
together. Santino is also 10 years older than Anna, so some growing up and
maturing has to happen for both of them, and we get to be there with them on
that journey. That is what had me invested in their story, by the time they
got together, I knew and wanted it for them both. Then, I needed to know how
they would turn around their ‘just for now’ into forever. They did not disappoint,
and we get all the added bonuses of thoughts from Dante and Val, and catching
glimpses of the future for Leonas, and seeing sweet little Bea <3 |
