This was an
emotional and touching story as Elise found her place in her pack. Mikhail
was patient but persistent, as he knew he would be turned away entirely too
easily otherwise. I cheered for Elise as she passed so many milestones and
realized she can have her way, what she wants, and how she wants it, without
reprise. I love how Mikhail guides her and anticipates her needs and allows
her to make these choices on her own, holding back any interference. It was
also fun to watch Jacque and Louis learn to know their place in their mama’s
world. There were more than a few laughs in this book and it balanced nicely
with the growth in heart and soul that we saw with Mikhail and Elise. That
epilogue was everything anyone could ever want for this amazing couple <3 |
