We knew
Sage and Reece were sweet from the previous book where they were teens, but
now they are all grown up and Sage is ready for his HEA. We are 10 years past
when we last saw the pack and the pack has grown, not with new members, but with
kids. These four pups give us a great look at our established couples and how
much they are still in love. But our focus is Sage and Rina, and they come
together with a bang. He rescues her, with her quite unwilling, from an
obsessed hunter. Rina has learned her whole life not to trust and she fights
Sage at every turn when he tries to help her. He isn’t giving up though
because he knows she is his. He may not have a wolf inside him, but he is all
wolf. This isn’t an easy path, and we get lots of family dynamics from both Sage
and Rina. (Reece just about had me bawling with his actions, he is so in tune
with his brother!) They work it all out in their own way, at their own pace,
and find their own love and happiness <3 |
