Well, in
classic Kitty style, there were a few “oh wow” moments in this story as
unexpected turns happened. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, as this
starts out with Macy at the centre of it all. Everything around her is
swirling and twirling and out of her control. She feels one way and acts
another to keep herself anchored, afraid to engage in the chaos around her.
Colin embraces the wildness and rawness that Macy tamps down, but in his own
controlled manner. They connect and disconnect in their time together, but
those connections are so strong, they both are shocked by it. The connection
stays even when all else seems out of control, grounding her, grounding him,
with each other. The heat between them in undeniable but it is more than
that, as the person she wants to be recognizes the person he is, and they
both can’t turn away |
