I had such
high hopes for Apollo at the start of this book and he just let me down.
Luckily, Valentine was having none of that and got him straightened out. He
only slipped up once after that and realized his mistake almost immediately.
But for these moments, this was a sweeping love story with a single dad who
loves his kids and a woman trying to find herself after years of neglect and
abuse. They connect and disconnect, but keep coming back together. Their
chemistry is addictive and like nothing they have experienced before. The
sweetness between them, it would be goofy if it wasn’t so genuine. They had
me in tears, they had me angry, they had me worried, and they had me happy.
They were so perfect together and also so in sync with the other, there was no
way their HEA wasn’t going to happen <3 |
