I loved how we are just thrust right into the story and the action begins right away! There are a lot of questions, but they come to be answered as the story unfolds for our heroine, Gwen. We are beside her as her world shifts and changes, and the things she thought were fantasy and lore, come true. It was so easy to fall in love with all these characters, to feel their pain, their hope, their happiness, their bonds with each other. I’ve had this on my TBR for a while now, but now see a binge for the entire series in my immediate future <3
