I am a
broken, emotional mess after finishing this book! Not only did Cersei and Lan
put me through the wringer as they broke and put themselves back together,
Cersei’s dad was just the best, and the most. I loved how this story
developed, the growth for both characters, the secret times together, the
tender times together, the wild and the wrath. The bonds that were formed
with the horde, with the ladies, with the attendants, it all had to be
forged, there was nothing to build upon before Cersei’s arrival. There were
parts that were painful to go through, there were parts that were steamy,
there were parts that were cute, all the things that make up a good life.
Cersei and Lan had a lot to cover to be together and they did it with the
grace, brute force, and tenderness that defines them both <3 |
