What I love
about this authour is her ability to take every day people and make them into
heroes! We expect our military characters to have a certain drive, abilities,
and discipline, but in this case, our heroine is a ‘regular’ person who truly
is a hero. Caroline has low self-esteem, it has been demonstrated to her all
her life, and she doesn’t question it, she just accepts it. Wolf is at a
crossroads in his life and while he doesn’t fall for Caroline at first sight,
he more importantly falls for Caroline once he gets to know the woman she is.
Danger is all around them and some definite bad things fall upon them, but
they keep fighting, and eventually, that brings them together, forever <3 |
