I love a story
that is contained within itself but still manages to push along a larger story
line, and this was that 10X! While our hero suffers from some serious PTSD
and addictions, it doesn’t weigh down the storyline, it is just part of who
he is and what he has to deal with every day. Our heroine seems super tough
as nails, but we get to see her gooey, soft, centre when she deals with our
hero. They also have great heat between them! Throw in some familiar characters,
and those we still need to get to know more, and this was a fab listen! |
