Paranormal agency investigating things, oh yeah, I’m all over that! This is the first book in the series, and it has all sorts of good things in it. Variants have different abilities, and we are on the side of the good guys. The agents are young, there are relationships existing, or budding between them, and all sorts of different dynamics. All of this plays out against the backdrop of a murder and a mystery to be solved, and, by the end, the intro of a big bad that will be an ongoing adversary. Great story, great characters, and I can’t wait for more!
