A cowboy sheriff?
Yep, I’m there, and Zack did not disappoint! The eldest of the Kittredge
clan, he carries some prominent scars of his childhood on his soul, so much
so, he walked away from the ranch. Not his family, he still loves to meddle
(and they with him) and be there for them, just away from his father. Reasons
are slowly revealed over time and are heartbreaking, as his parents’ lives
are finally explained. Janie grew up with everything but always found she was
missing a piece. That was filled the moment she and Zack encountered each
other. There two seemingly opposite people connect on a soulful level, giving
the other what they didn’t realize they were missing. Strong, stubborn,
determined, define them both, but underneath it all, there is a level of
empathy that runs deep and true. Zack and Janie work with each other, it is
doubtful either could work with anyone else. They have to do some soul
searching within themselves to let themselves be happy, before they can be
together, and it makes their HEA all the more poignant because of it <3 |
