These two
were absolutely scorching together and that didn’t take away from how
unbelievably sweet they were as well! I’m in love with them both, their
story, how they are with each other, and just how freakin’ cute they were,
and are, as a couple. Mara and Derek were sweethearts in high school, and
while they never technically broke up, they went their separate ways. She has
some big secrets, his life is an open book, due to him being a huge footy (Australian
football) star. As we get to know them together, wow, steamy stuff, which is
all she wants, he wants more. Those emotions come into play for both as they
start to be together more. Their stories are revealed over the course of the
book, and it just made me love them both more. Seriously, this book and it’s
ending with these two together makes me so happy 😊 |
