not the conclusion I expected, it was better! This entire series, and especially
this book, is a stage where you are watching the players. The atmosphere, the
reactions, the suspense, all the emotions, they aren’t prose, it is a play
and you are watching it happen. You are experiencing it with the characters.
Jane, Beau, little Paige, and all the side characters convene, moving across
the stage, playing their parts, telling their story. There is love, there is
danger, there is self-sacrifice, and there is bravery. Jane and Beau have to
sort through all of these to do what is best for them, the family they have created,
for everyone involved. That they get the happy ending they have is
miraculous, as all the cards are stacked against them. But it happens, and
the dreams they held dear, too scared to share with anyone else, come true
  with each other <3 |
