There is nothing
better than losing yourself in a book, when time ceases to exist and the only
thing in your reality is the words on the pages. This was most definitely one
of those experiences! After barely getting into it and having to set it
aside, I was going to read ‘some’ of it, and the next thing I know the book
is done and hours have passed. This had all the suspense you could handle,
with fallible people and impossible circumstances. Our trinity always seems
to be playing catch-up, calm down, and racing to be together. The enemy they
are fighting isn’t clear, and when it becomes known, is darker and more
elusive than any they have known. There was no simplicity, everything became
more complicated the more layers that were revealed. The trinity works things
out while under fire the whole time, and that forged them in steel. But while
we get our HEA, we a glimpse of things to come, though not yet, because there
is only two (and we know there needs to three) and the epilogue whets our appetite
for the next trinity, and it is already deep and dark with unbelievable odds
against it before it starts! |
