If there is
one thing that is consistent about the books in this series, it is that they
are one-sitting reads! Talon was no exception, as I couldn’t put it down
until I had reached the end and saw how Talon and Zenni got their HEA. This
seemed doubtful considering how they met, but once Talon got the lay of the
land, nothing was stopping him from being with Zenni. He laid down a few
times with a few people, including Payne and Scout, but his biggest challenge
was Zenni herself. Closed off, locked up, and proud of it, Zenni’s life
shaped her in ways she has trouble changing. Luckily, she has some amazing people
on her side to help her navigate the scary and new waters she is in. Some
family ties amended, some stories to uncover, but really, Talon is the story
of a man and a woman falling in love and figuring out how to make that work
for them. And it was great to be there for the adventure <3 |
