This story read
smooth like silk! It flowed, it shimmered, and it was strong and smooth. Much
like Avery and Declan because at certain times they were all of those.
External and internally, they were bruised and battered, but they keep going,
never giving up. Friends to lovers, their relationship had such a solid
friend base, their vulnerabilities when it grew into more were sweet to see.
Bold, confident, and self-assured in almost everything else, those moments
made them more human, and more special. The conflict in this book took me by
surprise, and the resolution even more so, but it was easy to see why it
happened and why it needed to be the way it was. Smart, sexy, funny, and emotional,
this story had it all! |
