Mitchell seemed extra broody to me, he really had it down to an art form. His one saving grace was his devotion, albeit unwillingly, to Dawn. Dawn was a breath of fresh air, especially next to his storm clouds. She was hopeful while being realistic, and she didn’t let him wallow, but she also didn’t try to cheer him up. She let him be, and he learned to let her be, and they grew together. Long before they made conscious decisions, they were blending their lives together and falling in love. When it came time to do it for real, it was natural for them, and beautiful to be part of <3
