This was a
wild ride! One of the things that was especially interesting was that you
realize that some of our heroes from previous books in the series are enemies
of each other, and that all comes out here. That mind switch is further
complicated as you still see the good in them as they interact with their
mates but they like to fight with each other. As do our two main characters,
though they make up with lots of sizzling sexiness. Seriously, they like to
throw energy and fire balls at each other. Witches and demons are natural
polar opposites, mostly because the former can do things to the latter, but
the attraction between Tam and Cain from their first meeting can’t be denied.
Enemies to lovers, forced proximity (in a demon dimension), and a stalker who
is after her heart, literally, made for an invigorating and sexy read 😊 |
