I think
Valerie is my new favourite kitten! Oh, and we get a side story with Mistress
Olivia, and that was an unexpected and most amazing bonus!!!! Oh, oh, oh, and
the newest Grayson makes an appearance, and there is more baby news by the
end of the book!!! Okay, so those are the reasons those of us who follow the
series are jumping up and down in happiness, but there were some not so nice
moments in this book too. There was the problem with Shadowland itself, and
that affected me as much as any other wrong. Shadowlands really is a
character of itself, and to see it hurting, that heartache was just as deep.
Luckily, that got solved quickly enough, but still. It was painful to
experience. Valerie is coming from a bad situation that has been building all
her life. Ghost is coming out of a period where he needed to take some time
to settle his own thoughts and feelings. These two go together like peanut
butter and jam, and nothing develops as they planned, but worked for them
perfectly. Loved that we got another mature couple in the series, loved the family
that is Shadowlands, (and forgot how big it is now!) and loved every second,
every line, every moment, in this book <3 |
