I loved how
the emotions were always there in this story, just below the surface, and then
when they broke free, it was an explosion! Sylvie and Rene have known each
other since they were children, they were the others ‘person’. A stalled
attempt to start something more left Sylvie hurt and Rene determined. Unfortunately,
Rene is entirely too much of a patient man. When he acts though, he acts with
purpose and determination. Sylvie had her time to mature, and she is just as
determined as Rene, but in a different way. These two disagreed, respectfully
and sometimes emotionally, on a few things, but when they connect, they do so
with such passion. Bringing out their buried emotions was no hardship on the
other, these two are joined together and are determined to stay that way. The
town and its’ residents bring some hijinks, some comic relief, but the story
between our two love birds take centre stage and captivates you throughout! |
