I took
major two things away from this book – first, I made a horrible mistake because
I’m going to have to wait months for the next book in the series, and two,
smurfs are apparently real! But really, I loved that this series has a bit of
an edge, a bite to it, and that grows with each book. Azrael and Daphne are
thrown together, literally, and never really separate once that happens. Sometimes
that is his choice, others it is hers, but they connect, and continue to grow
closer throughout the book. Their mismatched communication brings some laughs,
and their attraction certainly brings some heat. The suspenseful part for
them is over for now, but the story arc is just getting started! |
