I love
prequels because we get glimpses of our characters before ‘the story’ begins.
This was perfect for that! We meet our main character that is the link,
Dillon, and even if we didn’t know him, we understand that there are things
to know about him that will be in his story. Same for his new roommates,
little glimpses of who they are, how they are, where they come from, and
where they are, in life. And while we don’t get our meet cute, we get a
glance, and the promise of that meet cute coming up 😊
