It has been
a while since I read the first book in this duet, and even though it picked
up where that one left off, it was easy to get back into the story! And what
a story, it didn’t take any straight lines, everything had twists and turns
and made for quite the ride. Loved the main characters, they were perfect foils
for each other and their chemistry was boiling hot. The cast around them have
a great mix of bad guys, not so bad guys, and a boatload of girl power to
keep everything interesting. That tidbit at the end, that just makes me want
to crawl into this world and never leave <3 |
