With that quote, early on in the book, I knew I was going to love Lucas. Oliver appealed to be from the start, with his vulnerabilities right there on his sleeve, and him trying so hard to compensate for them. These two took a bit to get together, but that was okay, because they got to know each other. While theirs was a quiet and steady build, it was still fun and with great chemistry. It was great to see the Zen master and the overthinker switch places as needed to support the other, both on and off the sheets
