This is not
a romance; This is not a love story; This is a story about what BDSM is not,
and what it is. This is a story about resilience and not giving up. This
doesn’t have a fanged bad guy, though he seems that way sometimes. This does
have someone who was likely formed all his life to be that deranged bad guy.
This is a story of human nature, laid against everything that is not sane,
safe, or consensual. It is an anti-romance, when those things that could make
you tingle are done in the wrong way. I loved every second of it and couldn’t
wait to see how it all wrapped up, and it did that quite nicely! |
