This book
had me alternating from sitting on the edge, anxiety overload, to bursting into
tears, and finally, squirming in my seat. The conclusion for Holly and
Elijah, it felt so much like Wanderlust, it was scary at times. They had
real, honest, danger and pain. They had beautiful rough and hard moments
together where their hearts were on display. They had loss, pain, and
hardships, time apart, time together, and they lived through it, with one
thing on their mind, get together, be together, love together. In the end,
they made it through it all, belatedly realizing they were never really all
alone together, but while they were together, others were looking at for them
as well, and their future was what they wanted to make of it. Beautiful as
any fantasy, and better, because it was real for them <3 |
