You
sometimes forget how much you love the original start to a series, well in
this case, an empire, until you read about them again. It is fitting that
Alex and Tabby are the focus of this check in with the original Montgomery’s,
because they were the ones in the all the stories, their path bringing them
together varied and painful. But seeing them now, so happy, so in love, so settled,
it was so sweet that I could taste the hot chocolate Tabby was drinking. A
little glimpse into their lives now, and a still surrounded with their loving
families, this was a wonderful read <3 |
