Lavender
and Kodiak figure out much later in life that they found their soulmate in
each other. But, they weren’t ready, and that brought a lot of pain with it.
Their journey made me ache for them, cry for them, and cringe for them. The
paths they took were fraught with landmines and emotions, of loved ones doing
what they thought was best. Time and space really do make the best medicine,
and I felt Lavender truly benefited from that. Kodiak still seemed a bit less
developed, and he would revert to bad habits quicker. These two definitely
had chemistry and sizzled on the pages. If you want a mid-angst, college
read, than this is definitely the book for you! |
